The Interpretation
Mr A was having anxiety and feeling an urgency to rescue himself from a particular situation. There was an opportunity for him to overcome this situation ( as represented by his friends jumping off the cliff into a window below via a rope). However, feeling insecurity, he did not take the risk (as represented by him not jumping over the cliff). Thus he missed an opportunity.
