Symbol Search Features
Doing
a Keyword/symbol search is straightforward.
Simply
key in the keyword into the input box on the left of the Search
Button. You can type in the description of the images/events or
objects that appeared in your dream that seems to have significance,
into the input box. Click on the Search Button to start
searching the dictionary.
If
the keyword is in the dictionary, the interpretation will be
displayed in the Interpretation and analysis Description Box.
To
see if there are other matches, click on Search Button again.
If there are no more matches, a message box will display stating that
there are no more results.
Dream
Journal Features
This
section is for recording and documenting dreams.
To
pick a date for the dream occurence, click on Calendar or you
can simply do it manually by typing the date straight into the Date
textbox.
The
Highlight Symbols button, when clicked, will automatically
search the currently displayed diary record for dream symbols.
The
symbols that are found will be bolded and highlighted
in blue. The user can then copy and paste the highlighted
symbol into the Dream Symbols search to check out their respective
meaning or interpretation.
This
is a very help feature that will greatly assist the user in analysing
the dream contents and messages being conveyed.
Note:
As of version 1.1, it is easier
to search for meanings of symbols that are found in your dream
journal record. Simply, right-click and go to Display
meaning of selected word
for their meanings straight from the dream journal
