Dream
Library Editor
To
open the Dream Library Editor, click this button
You
can modify, expand and improve the Dream symbol library to suite your
needs.
The
database is simply a textfile call dreamdata.txt.
The
Dream Library Editor is designed to facilitate the editing of the
database text file.
Adding
new sets of Symbol and Interpretation into the database library
To
do so,
Type
in the respective words into Dream Symbol as well as
Interpretation input boxes.
Click
on the Add Button. You will notice that the new sets of
symbol/interpretation will be added into the Dream library
content.
In
Dream Library content,
Each
row is a set of symbol and its corresponding interpretations.
Symbols
and Interpretations are delimited by a '|' on each row.
There
must also be another '|' at the end of the interpretation text.
All
keywords must be separated by space, comma, space in order for
the full word search to be effective.
Keywords
must be in uppercase format.

Click on Save Button to save updates into the Dreamdata.txt.
Note:
As of version 1.1,
You
can also save the library as another file using the File >
Save as from the main menu. It is advisable to make backup
copies of the dream library text file. However, the main program
Dream Diary Assistant will only load the default file which is
Dreamdata.txt. In addition, Dream
Library Editor also allows printing of database.
